The Ferguson's Artillery Ladies Auxiliary participates in and to promote historical and educational events of the the War Between the States. They help promote the comradeship among those attached to the Ferguson's Artillery and those interested in the life of ladies of the period 1861-1865. They are involved in presenting living history demonstrations, memorial ceremonies, recreating historical events, participated in parades, reenactments and to generally portray and recreate the lady of the 1860's, her life and times. The ladies support the men of Ferguson's Artillery in many endeavors such as cooking meal, sewing and raising funds for needed safety gear. The ladies also participate in a variety of other period Sanitary Commission activities which include sending Soldier's Comfort Packages that are sent randomly to soldiers participating in various battle reenactments.
